    How we rate lenders

Every lender profile on Kreditify carries a set of category scores from 1 to 5. Those scores are calculated from the lender's own published terms — not from opinion, and not from what a lender pays us.

    What we score

    CriterionWhat it measuresData source
Rates & APRThe lender's lowest published APR, and how far its range sits from the cheapest comparable option in the same product category.Lender's published rate disclosure
Loan rangeHow much you can actually borrow. Lenders that cover both small and large amounts score higher than narrow-band lenders.Lender's published minimum and maximum loan amount
Approval oddsThe stated minimum credit score and whether the lender works with thin or damaged credit files.Lender's stated credit requirements
Funding speedHow quickly approved funds are disbursed — same day, next business day, or slower.Lender's published funding timeline
Product choiceHow many distinct loan products the lender offers, which matters if you may need to refinance or borrow again.Lender's product list

How the overall score is built

The overall Kreditify score is the average of the category scores above. Where a lender does not publish a figure for a criterion, that criterion is scored neutrally rather than guessed, and the profile says the data is unavailable.

    Pros and cons

The strengths and drawbacks on each profile are generated from the same underlying terms — a low minimum credit score becomes a pro, a high starting APR or a narrow loan range becomes a con. That keeps every lender judged on identical rules.

What does not affect a score

    • • Whether the lender is a paying partner.
    • • How much a partner pays per click or per funded loan.
    • • Requests from a lender to change or remove a stated drawback.

    Keeping scores current

Lender terms change often. Scores recalculate whenever the underlying terms in our database are updated, and profiles carrying rate or fee data are re-checked on a rolling schedule. Spotted something out of date? Email editorial@kreditify.com.
